"E" is for Egg.

I found this nest with only one egg last summer in July when I was traveling around with my bike. I stopped and looked at a information border and right there at the top of this I saw the nest.

When the little bird opened up his eyes for the very first time this is what he saw.
The Hotel Union Øye. One of the Historical hotels in Norway. What a view!!

And here he is today. A big boy in the city of Bergen!!

SvarSlettI loved that post - my favourite is the last one ;-)
SvarSlettJust beautiful photos.

This is a great post - love the closeup of the egg in the nest! :D
SvarSlettVery nicely told. I find it difficult to get birds to sit still for a portrait. That is why I usually have flower pictures--they don't run from me.
SvarSlettGreat photos and enjoyed the little story to go along.
SvarSlettLovely! That egg was so open to danger - how did it survive?
SvarSlettExcellent photos to tell the story.
